Beautifully nestled in nature, the resort borders a small jungle and is located directly on a sandy beach. The 16 spacious and comfortable bungalows are just a few steps from the shore and all offer wonderful sea views. The professionally run, well-equipped dive center is right at the jetty. Complimentary WiFi is available throughout the resort. The restaurant building with bar and lounge is the central meeting point – ideal to enjoy culinary delights and round off the day with a relaxed deco beer.

The Resort

Location

The resort, surrounded by nature, on the edge of the jungle is located directly on a bright sandy beach. A dream! All 16 spacious bungalows are just a few steps from the beach and boast wonderful sea views. There is a small bar next to the restaurant – perfect for the deco beer. The professionally run and well-equipped dive centre is just a few steps away from the jetty. WIFI is available free of charge in the resort.

Accommodation

There are a total of 16 beach bungalows, including 3 deluxe bungalows, each for two people (extra bed on request). All have a veranda with sun loungers, a spacious bathroom with hot water, biodegradable shampoo and shower gel, a living room with air conditioning, fan, safe, 220-volt sockets (electricity around the clock), fridge with minibar and daily replenished drinking water and kettle with tea/coffee. The Deluxe Bungalows are located on the edge of the resort and are additionally equipped with an espresso machine.

Dining

The restaurant with bar and lounge is the heart of the resort – an architectural highlight with unique, spectacular design built exclusively from natural materials.

Half-board or full-board options are available, offering a wide range of Indonesian and international dishes. At lunch and dinner, guests may choose from several menus, with drinking water served free of charge.

The kitchen focuses on freshness and variety, with a clear emphasis on regional ingredients and homemade products. Fresh fish from local fishermen plays a central role. A special highlight is the tuna, sourced directly from the surrounding waters, carefully prepared, and served daily in a variety of dishes.

Wellness

Soothing massages are available year-round. Guests may choose to enjoy their treatment in the specially designed spa bungalow or privately on the terrace of their own guest bungalow. The menu includes traditional Indonesian massages as well as relaxing head, neck, and foot massages. The tranquil atmosphere and sea views make each treatment a particularly restorative experience.

Excursions

A visit to the village of Sabatang offers authentic insights into island culture: a stroll through the lanes reveals how nutmeg, cloves, and calamansi are grown, giving a glimpse into traditional lifestyles. An alternative excursion leads to a neighboring village, through lush plantations and tropical nature to a hidden waterfall – a magical spot for a refreshing break. Both tours provide unforgettable impressions of authentic life and the warm hospitality of the islanders.

Payment on-site

Payments on site are cash only – in Euros, Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), or US Dollars. Please note that old or damaged bills are not accepted. Credit card payment is unfortunately not possible.

Sustainability

Sustainability lies at the heart of everything we do. Each guest receives an eco-friendly aluminum water bottle for the duration of their stay, which can be conveniently refilled with purified drinking water. In our bungalows, we provide glass bottles, avoiding single-use plastics wherever possible. Even our boats are equipped with modern, low-emission four-stroke engines.

In the kitchen, local sourcing and quality take center stage. We aim to use ingredients that are either homemade or sourced directly from our surrounding community. Our fish comes exclusively from local fishermen, while spices, bananas, and chilies are freshly supplied from nearby. Instead of buffets, we serve carefully prepared plated meals, ensuring maximum freshness while minimizing food waste.

Sustainability for us also means supporting our community. About one-third of our team comes from the neighboring village, allowing us to contribute to local livelihoods and grow together.

Additionally, our team regularly organizes “Dive Site Clean-Ups,” actively protecting the underwater world and preserving it for future generations.

The Bungalows

All bungalows feature a veranda with deck chairs, air conditioning, 220V sockets, 24-hour electricity, bathroom with hot water, fan, mosquito net, fridge with minibar, kettle with tea & coffee set, and a safe.

There are 16 beach bungalows in total, three of which are Deluxe Bungalows for two persons each (extra bed on request). Located on the edge of the resort, the Deluxe Bungalows are also equipped with an espresso machine.
